Method
Weigh Out Wax: Each of the 12 cavities holds 8g of wax. For one Advent Calendar, weigh out 88.9g of wax. Weigh out your Soyaluna wax and melt it using your preferred method. Heat wax gently to 80°C until it is completely melted and liquid. Pour wax into 1 litre pouring jug.
Add Fragrance: Using the pouring nozzle for precise measurement, add 7.1g of Wise Men fragrance oil (this is using an 8% scent load*) to the melted wax. Stir slowly for two minutes to bind the fragrance thoroughly.
Cool To Pour Temperature: Monitor the temperature using a thermometer until the wax cools to between 55°C and 60°C. Do not pour above 60°C. The rPET tray is made from 86% recycled plastic, and higher temperatures will warp or distort the cavities.
Pour Into Advent Tray: Place the tray flat on a level, heat-resistant surface. Using the spout of the pouring jug, carefully fill each of the 12 cavities with approximately 8g of wax. Leave the tray undisturbed on a level surface until the wax completely cools. Finally, slide the tray securely inside the calendar sleeve, aligning each door over the corresponding wax cavity.

The one step not to rush
Pouring too hot. The rPET tray is made from 86% recycled plastic, and higher temperatures will warp or distort the cavities. Wait until your thermometer reads between 55°C and 60°C before you pour.
