Foaming Bath Butter Base

Stephenson's Foaming Bath Butter is free of parabens and propylene glycol, and has been formulated to meet the demand for natural, environmentally-friendly skin care products. This cream soap is among the latest technologies, combining cleansing and moisturizing with a gentle pH of 5.5 - excellent for facial use. Despite its high performance and stability, Foaming Bath Butter is affordable and does not compromise on quality. As a base, it provides limitless potential, from whipped parfaits to shaving butter and sugar scrubs; essential, fragrant, and other natural oils and butters can be easily incorporated to create unique and custom products!

Carrier Oils - Adding up to 130ml of a carrier oils (Grape Seed, Evening Primrose, Sweet Almond or Avocado) per kg of base makes the foaming bath butter more moisturising, particularly on products being applied to the face.
Sugar / Salt - Sugar or salt can be added until the product becomes supersaturated. Once the salt or sugar stops melting, it will remain in crystal form and act as an amazing exfoliator.
Fragrance - Stephenson's Foaming Bath Butter is incredibly robust, and will accept a fragrance load of up to 5% fragrance oil. However, a load of 2 to 3% is usually plenty! 

Caution: When crafting soap, the Melt & Pour Bases already contain water. Leaving it exposed to the air can lead to evaporation which, in turn, causes the bar to shrink. To prevent this, it is recommended that the entire bar is wrapped once it has cooled. Doing so should alleviate shrinkage.
